Global Compact: A Partnership to Accelerate Positive Impact
At Aqualia, we understand that major global challenges require shared solutions. That is why we are a member of the United Nations Global Compact, the largest international initiative for corporate sustainability.
Since joining in 2020, we have integrated the Global Compact’s Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals into our strategy, management, and decision-making, reinforcing our commitment to responsible water management, respect for human rights, business ethics, people development, and environmental protection.
As a global operator in the full water cycle, we contribute particularly to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), but also to other key goals related to climate action, innovation, the circular economy, energy, and partnerships for sustainable development.
Our participation in the Global Compact allows us to share knowledge, promote joint initiatives, and collaborate with companies, institutions, public administrations, knowledge centers, and social organizations to generate a broader and more lasting positive impact.
